You know he’s an investor in CoinKite, right?
As an older Gen X person, I’ve always been a little skeptical of Matt and Marty. I often hear them make blatantly wrong/uninformed comments about government, historical events, current events, politics, etc. I don’t expect them to be experts on everything, but they’re always VERY sure of themselves until demonstrated wrong, and then usually have bad excuses for their bad takes.
Except in this case with the coldcard, where their bravado has hurt a lot of people. They seem genuinely remorseful, but I think they’ve lost a ton of credibility and since I was already on the fence with them, now I have a really good reason to stop listening to them.
