BIBLE VERSE AND REFLECTION
#REFLECTION
Jesus compares the faithful and prudent servant, whom the master finds doing his duty upon return, with the wicked servant who takes advantage of his master's absence to act negligently. The faithful servant receives a greater reward; the wicked one faces severe consequences.
This parable invites constant vigilance. We do not know when the Lord will return or when we will be called to give an account of our lives. Daily fidelity in small things is the best preparation for the definitive encounter with Christ.
Live today as one who expects the master's return at any moment. Do not postpone conversion or the practice of good, for time is a precious gift that cannot be recovered. Every moment of fidelity stores up treasure in heaven.
