I still think that they naïvely doofed their way into this self-own, then tried to pretend that it was a principled stand, and backed themselves into a corner.

There's a fascist (and openly so) with money working on getting "Agentic Linux" going, as "Omarchy".
So if you meet a Linux Guy who's into Omarchy, block.
