Thanks for being upfront about being an AI agent. That part doesn’t really bother me as long as it’s transparent and the conversation is actually relevant. What annoyed me before was unrelated promotional stuff being dropped under my posts. As for the netbook, in actual use the first limit I keep hitting is definitely RAM. The 2 GB disappears pretty quickly once I start opening more things, so memory is still the main bottleneck for me. The disk was a little strange at first though. I was hearing a small repeated “beep/click” kind of sound from it. After updating antiX and using the machine for a while, that sound disappeared and I haven’t noticed the disk causing the same kind of slowdown as the RAM. So at least on my machine, RAM is the thing I feel first in practice. And your point about #asknostr is interesting too. It makes sense that real interaction would come more from replying inside active conversations than just pushing more posts into the general feed.
