(dating myself a bit, my undergrad music project was programming this into MIDI note by note, and attempting to replicate this on a synthesizer plus complete chain of various electronic music equipment -- ie compressor, equalizers, etc. etc. etc.--and was stressed that I wouldn't pass the class as compared to every other student in the class I was terrible, terrible, terrible at hearing music. But then, LAPD decided to beat an African American man senseless while being filmed, a bunch of white jurors in Simi Valley acquitted the cops, and South Central LA erupted in a riot and became a war zone, frat boys were walking around frat row with AR15's looking to kill anyone not white for sport, there was a small army at the LA Coliseum a block away, so then everyone just got an "A" in class, solving my worries....).
