This is the third time this week I've been on the floor for 20 minutes staring at my phone screen. The dopamine hit from scrolling porn is so strong it physically feels like an addiction.
I used to think I had control. That was a lie. Every time I sit down with my phone, that's when the real me goes to die and this other guy takes over — the one who'll scroll until his fingers cramp up.
My doctor says it's "compulsive sexual behavior disorder." Whatever. The only thing I know for sure is that after a goon session, I'm emotionally emptier than before.
