One of the biggest realizations in my life is nothing outside of you can bring you peace & lasting joy. It literally has to come from within yourself.
If you seek external things like trophies, money, or romantic relationships to bring you joy, you are placing an impossible demand on them that will never satisfy you.
Choose relationships & activities from a place of already being joyous in your life, not for you to all of the sudden become joyous because of it.
