ha, yeah and then there is also the case the other way around where facebook and the internet are not dissassociated but conflated, because it is Meta that are offering them their internet connection in the first place, and facebook in the innitial portal.
Asside from this the difference between the internet and the web is rather obscure for most people, to the point i accepted innitial defeat on this point and say to people who in casual conversation ask what Nostr is. I just say its a new Internet rather than a new Web, because they might think im talking about spiders or something.
