I don’t want to excuse Coinkite (npub12ct…c5ky)'s oversight with random number generation. It was dumb. And people got hurt but not thinking carefully, often about things they never even considered.
But when you have this level of stupidity out there, it’s worth asking whether or not some people have the capacity for understanding entropy. It’s truly shocking.
