the alliance of uk, usa and eu is trying to force their banking system into every other empire, a stealth conquest, global empire. as has been noted for years since someone started looking at it, all of the targets for invasion, russia, china, iran, and previously, syria, iraq, and some others, don't have central banks tied to the ones running the West (i am referring to them as the maritime alliance because they are all mostly coastal/island territories and have historically ruled by controlling trade routes).

the countries that all are the final obstacles to their conquest all happen to also be on the same land mass, but poorly connected transit networks. that's what the chinese belt and road project is about. the fly in the ointment of the region is pretty much india, which is a trash country and strongly connected to the financier network of the West, which is also why china and india have frequent flare-ups over the border. pakistan, next door, also has a strong UK influence same as india.

anyway, the point being, that if there is one part of the world that might see the sense of a neutral settlement layer, it's eurasia, and i don't think it can start with the big countries, it needs to be some of the smaller ones trying it out and proving it works at a smaller scale.

the other thing is you would have to be deluded to believe that bitcoin hasn't been steadily compromised by the combination of especially cia and mossad in the years since the takeover of the bitcoin core project funding by blockstream.

it's not tinfoil hat paranoia at all, the facts speak for themselves. bitcoin is earmarked to be the basis of CDBCs and to do that, they need to bring covenants to the chain and that's exactly what it can do now, with the addition of BitVM on top of taproot. covenants on a base layer destroy its ability to be neutral and preclude it from being adopted by such as russia and china. the only way they are going to go for such a thing is a really decentralised base layer. i've been working on the organisation structure for that, and it requires a clean reset, sweeping all the trash that enables covenants (spam is just a smokescreen for what they are really aiming for) eliminating its vulnerability to steep drops in hashpower (this also is a vulnerability that precludes bitcoin from nation state adoption) because that will directly lead to an availability failure - long time between blocks. plus, a chain that can handle a steep drop in hashpower, and that doesn't hand governance rights to miners, is also essential, because that means all a country has to do to pervert the base layer into a partisan system is just lure all the miners to it with the difficulty adjustment weakness.

i'm sure i could explain all this in less, and more precise words in time but for now, apologies for the rambling and complicated terms. but that's what it is.
