My name is Mohanad. I am a 25-year-old Computer Information Systems graduate from Gaza.
Like many young people, I once dreamed of building a career, traveling, and creating a better future for my family. Instead, my life became a story of survival.
Over the past years, I have experienced displacement, loss, fear, and uncertainty. The home and neighborhood I grew up in were no longer places of safety. Like countless families, we were forced to move again and again, carrying only what we could hold in our hands.
Yet despite everything, I refused to give up.
I continued my education during the war and graduated under circumstances that seemed impossible. I spent countless hours documenting life in Gaza, sharing stories that often go unheard, and trying to show the world that behind every headline is a human being with dreams, fears, and hopes.
Today, my family and I continue to face enormous challenges. Access to basic necessities remains difficult, opportunities are limited, and rebuilding a future feels like climbing a mountain one step at a time.
