The important thing to understand is that Satoshi himself said of base layer ledger privacy “If a solution was found, a much better, easier, more convenient implementation of Bitcoin would be possible.” Exact quote!

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770.msg8637#msg8637

Bitcoin was still very young and Satoshi hadn’t taken the time to review the literature related to ring signatures and various zk proofs, but Monero’s fungibility was considered part of a minimum viable product in Satoshi’s mind. He even described a scheme in that very thread that is kind of a nascent description of ring signatures, “As an example, say some unpopular military attack has to be ordered, but nobody wants to go down in history as the one who ordered it. If 10 leaders have private keys, one of them could sign the order and you wouldn't know who did it.”

What the Bitcoin gang is doing is deliberately sabotaging Bitcoin’s ability to become money. That’s what is going on. They all know that Satoshi said this stuff but Saylor and the treasury companies all say that they don’t like base layer fungibility and that it would hurt corporate treasury compliance. Bitcoin maxis are anti-Bitcoin, and Monero is de facto that better, easier, more convenient implementation of Bitcoin. It is now de facto the real Bitcoin. Bitcoin can’t be money as long as these people are in charge, and is essentially no different than any shitcoin token. The only purpose of Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme, to generate a greater fool out of pension funds and convince them to buy STRC or some ETF.
