The government makes laws against exercising rights all the time. The fact that murder is illegal does not change the fact that two people who makes their own baby without depending on the government has the right to destroy that baby without interference from that government. Sorry! Rights are disgusting and horrible sometimes! Deal with it!
I think I know why you are so upset. You think I want the government to violate people's right to privacy. But that's not true. It's immoral to violate people's rights. I would never want the government to violate people's right to set themselves on fire, or people's right to eat their own babies... or people's right to privacy.
I want people to stop exercising bad rights on their own. I want to do what I can to encourage them to make that decision without violating their rights. I'm not going to sit here and pretend like using privacy to alienate oneself and hide one's perspective from others isn't a horrible expression of rights.
