My problem with Bitkey is that Bitkey is in control of the code that governs every signing device in the quorum. The code is where a lot of the risk lies because you're forced to trust it.
The Bitkey device, the phone app, and their server all run code written by the company. The multisig scheme is still better than a singular key, but you're ceding more sovereignty to Bitkey than you think.
