The fact that Sun Tzu never said "An evil man will burn down his own country to rule over the ashes" doesn't mean the statement isn't true.
It's still a valid question raised by [@georgemonbiot.bsky.social](https://bsky.brid.gy/r/https://bsky.app/profile/georgemonbiot.bsky.social ), which I don't have an answer for either: Why in the name of unholy fuckballs to people keep voting for someone who wants them enslaved or dead?
