For many developers, the first step into Bitcoin open source is often a meetup, workshop, hackathon, conference talk, or technical session.

These events create entry points for curious developers, connect new builders with mentors and peers, and give contributors a platform to share their work and find collaborators.

We’re excited to announce the first batch of 2026 Btrust event grant recipients. 🚀

This round, we are supporting eight events:
• 2026
• Lightning Developer Bootcamps
• Nairobi & Seoul 2026
• Code & Chain Senegal by Bitnob
• The Genesis Workshop by OSGuild
• Dakar Bitcoin Days IV
• DevFest Kaduna 2026

Learn more about the recipients here: https://blog.btrust.tech/introducing-the-first-batch-of-2026-btrust-event-grants

Btrust event grants are open to events, conferences, bootcamps, workshops, hackathons, and technical gatherings growing the Bitcoin open-source ecosystem.
