BIP-352 Silent Payments give you one address you can publish forever: no reuse, no on-chain link between payments, ever. The catch is quietly enormous — your wallet has to run an elliptic-curve check against every transaction with a taproot output, in every block, just to notice a payment landed. We solved "never reuse an address" by making "personally scan the entire chain" the new price of getting paid.
