I grew up riding around in and learning to drive XL SUVs and vans. I have a lot of siblings. Once I moved out and got married, hubs got me a 4Runner. I always said I would NEVER be a minivan mom... Well, when my husband's car bit the dust and it came time to pass along my 4Runner to him, I about started crying (yes, I know that's retarded) when I realized that a minivan was the most realistic for our needs and budget. I. Was not. A minivan mom. However, I swallowed my pride and fell in love my new-to-me Sienna. So much space. So comfortable. I now dread riding in my old 4Runner that I thought I loved 😂
If you do a lot of road tripping, I would recommend a 15 passenger van for anything more than four children though.
