Bitcoin creates levels of abstraction that the fiat system always has. Only precisely defining them is what loses so many people. Many will begin to understand the distinctions and lose faith because they've been told for so long that they aren't capable of understanding finance that they themselves believe it. Frequently they resort to calling it a conspiracy theory, failing to appreciate that it's literally just a conspiracy. Instilling hope in lost people is like trying to make a suicidal person happy. They're so foreign to the concept that they're averse when presented it, engaged even. This is why I've stopped trying to orange pill.
