The issue is not bad UI but incomplete packages: Nostr could be the universal communication network; forum-like discussions, X-like short post, blog, mail-like private messages, chat, VoIP. Nostr is unknown to most, so to start with a decent user base we need FLOSS world. People who want to run their own relays, inviting friends for personal comms like IRC, XMPP, Matrix, their personal website, ... Their is no such relay who di that with a client as well. Having this is the first step to seed the network. Next a companion complete mobile app (Wisp is excellent, but only for current most popular Nostr usage, X-like posts). This will bring people in, FLOSS nerds, their friends, people tired of censorship, age verification and so on.
Without such integration who chose an X-like client/project with a tiny userbase? To be free but being unable to interact with most of his contacts?
