Me personally as a relatively old unix-er/emacs-er, with enough knowledge to understand but not really active in crypto development, a casual ex high school geek back then having minded something but then nearly nothing more, I mainly complaint the lack of design and documents. I see here things popping up without docs, without public discussions on the project, something alien to FLOSS and so I find onboarding not easier even with a significant baggage of knowledge and theory.

I discover Nostr on HN, i've deployed my really two hours later and yet I still have to learn much because nothing seems documented and many projects are just code dump like some corps do for Open Source Enterprise stuff.
