I haven't seen many people share this sentiment but what happened with Coinkite sucks. I mean beyond the entropy tragedy, this sucks.
I understand a lot of people hate the guys behind it, but if we forget their personality for a second, these guys were amazing products builders. The best in the game imo. Hands down.

You have to wonder which amazing product they would've come up with next and we'll probably never get to see it. Yeah I think we're losing something big. I was looking up to them to be honest. It's hard to invent and build a product. And they kept doing it. Again and again.
The brand. The brand itself was so beautiful. The logo, the name, the mission. It was all perfect. Coinkite was a Mona Lisa. Just imagine what coinkite could've been in 50 years had they not commit an irreparable mistake.
Don't jump on my throat. All I'm saying is that I would've preferred a Bitcoin ecosystem with the Coinkite brand around.
