It is, the advantage is that you don't need to think about it with Monero.
Simple example when I used Bitcoin: I had one wallet for coins I bought from CEX, another for coins I received from client for which I don't want to be traced back to me... You get the picture.
With Monero you can do all of this with the same wallet if you want with no need of mixer or other stuff like that, and sleep in peace.
There's no way one day the tax man could trace any money that I "forgot" to declare with Monero.
