About 10ish years ago, stores introduced plofkip, basically americanized chicken that's pumped full of hormones and grows quickly. The public threw such a fit that it was pulled from the shelves. It's still used in processed foods, but the actual chicken you buy is not full of hormones. They really don't stand for much, govt or corporate.
