One of the best ways to proliferate nostr and bitcoin today is how any kind of infrastructure service can be repackaged to just work with #wot and bitcoin based micropayments instead of unsustainable fiat and rate limiting strategies.
I don't think platforms complain because they have a hard time to scale services. They have bad incentives because they want to offer services the wrong way: Unsustainably cheap, to then monopolize or upsell sth on the backend. In the age of agents this model doesn't work so they suffer.
I think only freedom tech solves this problem at the root
