All anyone ever talks about is the productivity gains and leveraging of people’s time using agents and AI. They never mention that it still means is that you still work the same 10 hour day or more for the same pay, but can now cram 10x more tasks into the same time. It’s not like people in employment positions are going to suddenly find themselves able to leave work at noon to go to the gym for the rest of the afternoon because they got their work done faster. Employers’ appetites for the amount of value they can wring out of each soul each workday is insatiable. Just like email and wireless comms, the benefactors of the technology will primarily be business owners. Never the worker.

This isn’t a judgement so much as it is a demonstration of why employment is and always has been a shitcoin.
