I wish I didn’t have to remind people of this, but there is not a single legitimate digital asset product manufacturer that will just call you out of the blue, or send you a letter in the mail, and insist that you download some unfamiliar software or verify your backup phrase on a website.
This is one hundred percent a scam, always, with no exceptions. They will steal everything and then laugh at you. You will live with the regret forever. Tattoo this shit on your forehead if you have to.
It breaks my heart and my brain to see people falling victim to these same despicable tricks over and over again.
