IMO it's just a better tool. The logical conclusion of what Bitcoin started. Every Monero user was or still is a bitcoiner, they're just not a cult follower. I've been watching it evolve since 2016. From my point of view it is the Bitcoin maxi cult that displays a lot of cope, clinging to the notion that total transparency is more important than privacy, and that half-assed L2 privacy solutions are the best answer. You don't have financial freedom if your financial activity can be analyzed and surveiled.
