British politics was so much less confusing 20 years ago when it was effectively a two party system. Good on you guys for diversifying though.
I wish we had more than a two party deadlock here. The librarian party has been trying for decades to reach 5% of the vote nationally, which is the threshold to be able to dip their fingers into the federal election fund. They struggle to be taken seriously because they've put up some nutty candidates like that guy who wears a rubber boot on his head.
The Constitution party gets even less of the vote despite being far more serious. This platform is strict originalist interpretation of the US Constitution, which would eliminate 95% of the federal government.
The Democratic Socialists of America is gaining traction frighteningly fast in recent years. Truly terrifying to behold. They may supplant the Democrats in the next decade I predict. We need an answer to that because the Republicans are too moderate and willing to compromise, despite what you see on the news.
