Physiognomy is undefeated. I tried shaving my head for a while when I was a young man, but I learned pretty quickly that I scare people away like that. I have very pronounced skull ridges where my cranial bones meet, so when people see me with a shaved head they think I look like a psychotic, violent criminal. The thing is, I do actually have lots of violent ideations and impulses, I just mostly keep them under control unless a get a good deal of alcohol in me. It's one of those legitimate generic sciences that was unfairly rejected around a century ago that we should probably revisit.
