McAfee is fucking garbage that just slows your computer down. He sold his company a long time ago and it just went to shit.
The built in Microsoft Defender is honestly pretty good and sufficient for most people.
If you do want serious third party security, Comodo is the only one that's any good. With everything turned on it can be a little taxing on system resources if you don't have a fast computer, but holy shit it's aggressive. The firewall component alone is like a crazed German Shepard.
When the Vault 7 files hit WikiLeaks, I combed though them and learned that CIA hackers think most antivirus is a joke, but they fucking hate it when their target is running Comodo.
