It won't stop ID verification. Maybe a hard ban will be better - it will create a bigger underground and do it more rapidly. The more abrupt and hard the change the easier to gather a meaningful underground.
Now the fight moved from stopping ID fuckery, to moving large amount of people outside of the government reach (like Nostr).
While everyone is still figting age checks and similar stupid ID ideas, it's time to push towards a real solution.
