My 3d printer, an old creality bed slinger, is dying. I'm not interested in putting more money into something so outdated and failure prone. Looking to upgrade and figured I'd #asknostr for recommendations.
I'm not interested in any printer that requires a cloud or phone home of any kind. No one who has even a whiff of bending the knee for any anti right to repair or other government control of 3d printers. Voting for freedom with my wallet.
I think that is pointing to the Sovol sv08 since I'm not able to dedicate the time or money to a true Voron build. Also I don't currently have a working printer to make parts for a DIY build. Anyone able to recommend a better choice? Sv08 problems that make it worth avoiding?
