Went to an open door visit with my youngest daughter today. She is starting high school next year. Wish my wife could have come too but she's home recovering from surgery. So it was just the two of us.
We saw the whole place. Classrooms, labs, gyms, and all the programs they offer. Sports, art, science, you name it. My girl is the outgoing type so I have a good feeling about this school. Hope she gets in.
Man, walking those hallways brought me back. My own high school, late 80s early 90s…That's where I made friends for life and turned from a kid into almost an adult. One of the most important times of my life, honestly. That's what I wish for her. Find what lights her up, put her energy into it.
Everyone talks about AI and how nothing is the same. Maybe so. I still believe in people. And learning is part of that.
