For a lot of the 'overpowered' style content, you have to look at the growth journeys of the characters surrounding the main character. Such as Genos, the cyborg who forces Saitama into becoming his mentor. You see his steady growth throughout the anime. I also really like the origin of Saitama's suit story, funny as hell xD

The entire world in the anime is really interesting, how monsters appear, how the heros are governed, there's lots to unpack. It isn't just 'wow Saitama is strong...' it's a lot of 'what is life about when you have exactly what you asked for?'
Worth it just for that imo
