Anything other than a regular post, should if following the comment NIP, not use kind 1 for comments/replies. Unfortunately, there is still plenty of Nostr apps that uses kind 1 for everything, including articles and polls.
#Nostria will now render a combined view of kind 1 (replies) and kind 1111 (comments). Hopefully everyone will upgrade to follow newer Nostr protocol soon.
