I'm over 30.
I get why young, idealistic people fall for the promises of socialism, especially if they've had a soft upbringing without much failure...
But there's no excuse past that. Just ask the people that lived through it's failures. It isn't like we have only a few examples.
I don't feel bad for me. I am annoyed at socialists for thinking that they know better or are any better than those who have tried it before. It is hubris to think you are, and I don't have that kind of mentality.
