People like to give the owners and maintainers of open source projects a really hard time and have a sense of entitlement. Having an opinion or suggestion is okay but the way people speak to you on here can be awful at times.
Design is a hard thing to achieve. It requires an incredible amount of skill to be able to design an intuitive app and many take this for granted. Being able to do UI/UX is a job in itself, people go to university to study it and it takes years to master. As a software developer myself, my top priority is and always has been UI/UX. When I build an app I start with user stories and how users will use my app, navigate it etc. It is what you'd call a user-centric design.
LLMs aren't very good at this by default because unlike us they don't tend to use apps everyday and interact with grahical interfaces. They don't understand what its like to be human.
Design is also very different by region. For instance a red button in Europe might mean danger, warning or stop whereas in Asia it's more likely to mean luck.
You do an amazing job and you build great software. Nostr wouldn't have grown into what it has without you and I think your apps are fantastic.
Something you might find interesting to play around with is https://stitch.withgoogle.com its an AI powered UI/UX tool. But nobody should be giving criticisms without thinking about what could make it better. It saddens me that people slate the devs constantly rather than try to work with them and make helpful suggestions.
Keep up the good work 🙌
