Yup! They did it with Hugging Face as well. It's ridiculous to leave such capable models wired into the internet with supposedly no supervision. Personally I believe its all intentional to get more investors and militaries on board but regardless they should face the full force of the law just like any other hacker in their bedroom. Fuck it! Are hackers going to go into court now days and say "Sorry it was my AI" and suddenly the judge drops the case and everybody goes home!? I don't think so. It's one rule for them and another for us.
This time it was just some statistics that got leaked from the Australian health department but who knows what the next hack will be!!
