WHY DID BITCOIN CASH (BCH) EMERGE?

Who is the Fed?

The Federal Reserve is the central bank of the United States. Modern fiat money no longer operates under a gold standard. Instead, today’s monetary system relies heavily on credit, banking, and debt.

And this is where the problem becomes visible.

Governments borrow.
Banks create credit.
Debt carries interest.
And the system relies on continuous economic growth to keep those obligations sustainable.

When a crisis hits, governments and central banks can take extraordinary measures to keep the system running—including expanding liquidity and increasing the money supply.

The cycle can look like this:

Crisis → stimulus → more liquidity → more debt → pressure on purchasing power → people need more money.

And the cycle keeps turning.

Ordinary people feel the consequences:

➤ Wages rise, but prices can rise faster.
➤ Savings lose purchasing power.
➤ Debt and installments become heavier.
➤ The cost of living keeps increasing.

So we have to ask:

Should we always depend on a monetary system controlled by centralized institutions?

Long before cryptocurrency, religious traditions—including Islam and early Christianity—debated the dangers of interest, usury, and debt that could burden people.

Then Bitcoin introduced a different idea:

What if digital money could operate without a central bank?

But digital money isn't only about storing value.

If money is truly going to function as money, people need to be able to use it.

Fast.
Cheap.
Permissionless.
Peer-to-peer.

When transaction costs became a major concern for everyday Bitcoin payments, part of the community chose to preserve the original vision of electronic cash.

That is one of the reasons Bitcoin Cash emerged.

BCH isn't a magic solution to every economic problem.

But it provides something extremely important:

CHOICE.

The choice to send value directly from one person to another without asking a bank for permission.

Because the biggest problem isn't only who controls the money.

It's what happens when we have no alternative.
