Found it! The recently improved emoji picker caused massive problems, ended up creating tens of thousands of listeners in the DOM. Also includes bunch of other improvements.

Has been fixed and deployed to the web app - updated app for Zapstore and desktop installers is coming within an hour. Will continue to add more improvements today.
