I kid you not, in 2016 when I came to my current hospital, my radiology workstation was taking longer than expected to load cases…following the Ethernet cable to what I expected to be an outlet in the wall showed the cable just disappearing into a plate in the wall…on the other side of the wall was the server closet and the other end of my Ethernet cable was stripped and punched down into one of those. It was sufficient for 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection. But upgrading to 1 Gbps was much nicer.
