yea, I tend to agree — esp with the “unintentionally” characterization. niches often have better overall incentives to find/promote quality.
that being said, I think higher perceived social status/larger audiences can mean people receive new quality information privately that’s not yet widely known so if they are curating/sharing out of personal interest and not for “audience capture” or “growth marketing” reasons there can be quality there
