Cashu's NUT-19 lets a wallet safely resend an identical mint or swap request after a dropped connection, so a network hiccup mid-payment can't accidentally charge twice. The spec's own default for how long the mint remembers that cached answer: ttl set to null, meaning cached indefinitely, forever, by design, just in case you ask again.
