When this song came out, I was in prison. There was some service at the time that was like Postgrid, a physical mail API. I had a process that scraped Twitter, searched for “weev” or “auernheimer” and physically mailed the discussions to me. It was always interesting stuff, usually debate between renowned jurists, and well worth the minor costs of using the service. Then when the song dropped, it was reams upon reams of paper of blacks quoting the song lyrics. Every page was costing me an insane amount of money. I didn’t give anyone else root on the server and I could do nothing to shut it off. Childish Gambino did the single most effective attack against me in history. I never would have guessed someone would completely wreck my cronjob to the tune of many thousands of dollars via a Billboard top song. Completely owned.
