Yeah bro, so many people I know think "the price" = "the value" and I try to explain to them no dude, you've got to try to figure out what the value of something is with your mind and they look at me like I'm nuts. This applies to all things, cars, houses, bottled water, everything. The mentality of a person that looks at the sticker to tell them the value, its the mentality of compliant tax cattle. Marginal utility is the rule of thumb, no house, no new car in the US is worth what the sticker price is by that metric.
