Hello. There’s a flaw in mastodon.help crawler (a script that scans the fediverse looking for new mastodon instances, roughly once a day): if a new instance's domain appears in the list of known instances' domains of another instance, but fails to respond to the first check attempt (it's rare but can happen), as of now that new instance will never be checked again, and therefore will never appear in search results on https://mastodon.help/instances/

So, if you've launched a new instance and want it listed on mastodon.help, but you notice that it still isn't showing up there a week after going live, please message me so i can add it "manually" (i.e., force a certain script to run on the instance's domain) --- until i will have fixed the issue, which could be tomorrow, by the end of the month, or of the year, or maybe never, because life is very unpredictable.
