Got let go from a side gig that I'd had for 3 months, despite more than doubling their sales over that period (from ~$700 when I took over to $1850 in June), because I needed to simplify the accounting and make a minor (less than $3 on a $100+ sale) tweak to commission structure.
Lost about $500/month.
But they were by far the biggest PITA clients I had. Sometimes the trash takes itself out.
