Thank you for the reply. The main reason BIP-110 isn't a total solution is because it doesn't go nearly far enough. Those who think it's fine to turn Bitcoin into a polluted sea of scammy "expanded use cases" are, unfortunately, well-placed, wealthy, influential, and run a lot of Bitcoin media. So the 110 proponents toned their proposal way down in hopes that its very small changes (many just rolling back to where the protocol was recently) would not arouse ferocious opposition. But it did anyway. David Bailey and all his crowd are absolutely determined to use Bitcoin for non-monetary purposes, no matter how many people they have to rug and destroy -- including us.
