TSK Rewards Spending⚡️⚡️⚡️
At The Surfer Kids, we record the monthly attendance of every child participating in our programme. Children who achieve an attendance rate of 70% or higher qualify for monthly Bitcoin rewards, paid in sats (satoshis).
The children can then spend their sats at local onboarded shops and merchants that accept Bitcoin as a form of payment. This gives the children an opportunity to experience the practical use of Bitcoin while also rewarding their commitment and consistency in the programme.
An important part of the initiative is that the sats are circulated within the local township economy. Instead of the reward simply being a once-off incentive, children can use their sats to purchase everyday necessities, including groceries, from participating local merchants.
Through this initiative, The Surfer Kids is using Bitcoin to encourage regular attendance, responsibility and commitment, while introducing children to Bitcoin and helping support local businesses within their communities.
